About the Role
This pivotal role is responsible for leading, organizing, and installing sophisticated integrated residential technology systems through all phases of a project. We seek a blend of technical mastery and operational excellence to ensure the seamless delivery of reliable, high-end systems within budget and timeline constraints. This position requires a professional technician dedicated to quality craftsmanship and superior client satisfaction in the luxury home market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Conduct and manage on-site activity through all project phases of configuration and installation for integrated systems (A/V, lighting control, motorized shades, and networking).
Operational Excellence: Work closely with the Project Manager to meet daily/weekly milestones, communicate status updates, and manage project needs efficiently.
Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate professional and positive relationships with clients, site supervisors, general contractors, and other trades.
Team Management: Plan, organize, and direct the work of Field Technicians, focusing on efficiency, quality control, and mentorship.
Problem Solving: Apply advanced diagnostics to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to signal flow, control systems, and network infrastructure.
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure the project is being completed in accordance with system drawings. Complete tasks and update company ERP.
Client Management: Demonstrate exceptional service sensitivity to client needs and requests, ensuring a premium experience.
Skills and Abilities Required
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in residential electronic systems installation or service, ideally within the luxury market.
Strategic Planning: Ability to visualize work sequences and translate them into measurable plans anticipating daily/weekly schedules.
Resilience: Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple demands, and prioritize tasks.
Technical Acumen: Comprehensive knowledge of residential systems integration including audio/video distribution and control systems architecture.
Documentation Proficiency: Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals with precision.
Physical Requirements: Capable of performing the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 80 lbs, climbing on ladders, and using power tools safely.
Requirements: A clean driving record and fluent English language skills (reading, writing, speaking) are essential.
